Olivia Von Halle : International Women's Day

To mark International Women's Day and to celebrate female empowerment, we've asked our founder Maya which female business owners inspired her throughout her personal journey of starting and growing her business. Today, we're shining a spotlight on Olivia, founder of the luxury lounge & nightwear brand Olivia Von Halle.

Olivia was inspired by the glamorous sets worn by Coco Chanel and her contemporaries to design her collection of fine nightwear. Inspired by her successful business story and her admirable attention to detail, we're so excited to ask Olivia a few questions about herself, her brand and her signature jewellery style.

If there's any advice you could give to a woman looking to start or grow her own business, what would it be?

To learn to follow your gut and stick to your original vision - it can be very tempting to ask lots of peoples advice in the early days and of course thats very important, but its also important to know

when to ignore advice - you can't be everything to everybody and its much more important to create something original that you love and believe in. It take a big leap of faith to learn to listen to your

gut but once you tune into it it will guide you!

When lockdown ends, who is the first woman you are catching up with in person?

I can't wait to go out for dinner and dancing with my group of best girl friends. We had one fun night at Louie London in October but I haven't danced since! I can't wait to hit the dance-floor again.
