London Fashion Week has once again taken the city by storm, but is also now sadly coming to a close. This is the time of the year where sartorial connoisseurs and notorious influencers come out to play across the capital. In tribute to this iconic week and its people, we’ve decided to look back at a few of the gorgeous trend setters that have previously worn Maya Magal pieces and made them their own.
Monikh Dale, fashion blogger and instagram Queen, has worn our gold pinky band beautifully paired with her own green statement ring and a red-checked shirt. The perfect fall combo.
Niomi Smart, beautiful lifestyle vlogger and author of ‘Eat Smart’, elegantly matched an ensemble of MM pieces as part of her jewellery look-book including the adjustable V ring, stripe round ring, and the two-tone V choker.
Nell Hudson, best know for her role in 'Outlander' and the drama-filled series 'Victoria', was previously seen wearing one of our our stackable charm rings at the Victoria Season 2 red carpet. A great addition to an already stunning dress.
Jourdan Dunn, iconic fashion model that has strutted numerous catwalks was seen rocking our jewels both off and on-duty. Here she is seen styling the silver and gold version of the double plate ring both on the red carpet and on her sun-filled holiday.
Alexa Chung, the notorious television presenter, writer, model and designer was seen wearing a collection of MM rings that elegantly accompanied her it-girl image. Here seen styling the silver banded ring, along with the parallel ring.
Amy: We met at Nottingham Trent University whilst we were studying in our second year, a good 9 years ago now!!
How did he propose?
Amy: Will had organised a surprise trip for my 30th Birthday to Gordes in the south of France. It was literally the most stunning place I have ever visited and every view was breath taking from the start. We spent the day exploring surrounding areas, visiting the most beautiful viewpoints. On our way back to the hotel (hot and tired) Will suggested we stop at another viewpoint overlooking some mountains near where we were staying (one we had talked about earlier so I had no reason to suspect anything suspicious!) As we got out of the car I started to take a panoramic picture on my phone and whilst I was doing so Will said my name, I turned around and he was on one knee! I'd like to say I remembered every word of the lovely speech he gave whilst proposing, but sadly I was too busy sobbing like a baby! Such a special moment after 9 years together and certainly one I will never forget.
Amy: I can't even begin to describe how happy I am with the ring. I had always told Will that I loved Sapphires but I had never given away what sort of design I wanted, so it makes it even more special that he had such an input on designing it, and I genuinely believe I couldn't have done a better job myself. I have never seen a sapphire more beautiful and full of lilac tones, and I still can't stop staring at how sparkly it is! I am also in love with the pear shaped diamonds either side, a truly exquisite ring.
Will: Designing the ring was quite a daunting task as there were so many different options in terms of style, stones, bands etc. Maya and Karolina made it a lot easier for me and recommended some recent designs they’d created and some that were a bit different/could work to suit Amy. I wanted something unique as I knew she’d appreciate something that nobody else owned.
I relied on Maya and Karolina to make a call on the band but I knew it was going to be silver/white gold rather than gold. I’d never seen Amy wear gold before. I also didn’t want there to be too many clasps, again to not take away from the sapphire, hence there are only four.
Will: Thanks to all of you for making this a special experience for me. I think from Amy’s response you can tell she is thrilled.
I see that a lot of you have come from @thisisalicelevine post of our @rachelbakewell ring for the #MMCollective Collaboration and wanted to welcome you all to our Instagram family! When I started the brand 4 years ago, it was my dream to design everyday luxury jewellery that were unique and special to the wearer, yet still something simple enough to accompany them from day to night. I've been so lucky to get the opportunity to make this dream a reality, and the MMCollective Collaboration is the perfect example of what I strive to continue to do. I'm so happy you're here, and am excited to share with you what we've been working on this year in the coming weeks xx
What a whirlwind few weeks it has been! We've opened our second shop in the lovely Marylebone with overwhelming support from friends and customers alike. I can't believe 2 years ago I was opening my first ever shop and now I'm reflecting on what a different journey the second shop is to the first! So exciting learning about our new customers and the different vibe St Christopher's Place offers... As the team is growing (12 and counting!) we are going to start introducing different team members over instagram + stories to share a little more about what we get up to and who is behind your everyday luxury jewellery. Pop over to Instagram stories today as I'm going to take you on a little behind the scenes of my day at Maya Magal Jewellery! Xxx
Meet Ilana: Maya has been sourcing beautiful diamonds from Illana @belskydiamonds since she started in Hatton Garden in March 2013!
Ilana quickly became a friend and helped Maya get to know the industry (especially the primarily male dominated world of Hatton Garden!). Diamonds run in her family and her dad was the original Belsky diamond dealer.
These days she splits her time between a workshop in Hatton Garden and a cutting bench in Birmingham.
She always has an incredible array of beautiful and unusual stones and it's a great day when Ilana comes to visit our office!
Check out our instagram for events we have planned with Ilana including a diamond day!
One of our newest recruits for our second shop in Marylebone. Sina works one or two days each weekend whilst studying for her architecture degree.
Check out the photos below to see her show you around the shop and how she styles her #MMEveryday pieces.
Fun fact: She's also super creative and makes some of her own clothes - like the cute red skirt she's wearing today! #goals

Introducing Sarah: during the week Sarah is a primary school teacher, but on Sunday's we are lucky enough to have her as our Retail Assistant at our Islington shop.
Her architecture background and great taste mean she's got a natural flair for putting together beautiful jewellery combinations. Here is an example of how she styled her #MMeveryday layered necklaces.
Sarah is a fan of all silver jewellery and loves layering long necklaces and stacking rings. Fun fact: she doesn't have her ears pierced! This means she is all about our earcuffs which don't require piercings.
If you're near 193 Upper Street today do pop in and say hi. Or visit one of our other London locations.
