THE BESPOKE DESIGN PROCESS

Our bespoke design service gives you the opportunity to create a truly one of a kind piece, mindfully handcrafted in our London studios by skilled in-house jewellers. Perfect to commemorate cherished moments and special memories, let us take you through the bespoke design process from the very first meeting to the final finished piece. 

The current lead time is 4-6 weeks. Please note, October 26th is the last day to get in touch to receive your bespoke piece before Christmas.

Step 1

INITIAL

CONSULTATION

Your bespoke journey begins with a complimentary virtual or in-person consultation at our Islington, Coal Drops Yard or Notting Hill locations. Our Studio Design Manager Nathan will ask about your individual taste, any initial ideas, and specific design requirements.

In this first meeting we’ll ask you about your preferred metal, gemstones you have in mind, and any personalised customisations, such as engraving.

Step 2

GEMSTONE

SOURCING

We have a selection of unusual and unique gemstones available to view, including our beautiful grey diamonds. If you don’t see one that’s just right for you, we can source a stone to suit your particular requirements.

We also work with repurposing gemstones from jewellery you already own as a sustainable way to recycle a meaningful gemstone. All of our gemstones are conflict-free and handpicked by Maya and Nathan.

Step 3

HANDCRAFTED

IN LONDON

Once your gemstones have been selected and your design has been finalised, your bespoke piece will be carefully handcrafted in our London atelier using 100% recycled gold.

We work with our skilled in-house jewellers and occasionally collaborate with experienced artisans in the heart of London’s jewellery district, Hatton Garden, to perfect the design.

Step 4

THE FINISHED

PIECE

In 4-6 weeks your bespoke piece will be ready and presented in a special Maya Magal box.

With your new piece you will receive a care guide and, upon request, a valuation document outlining the specifications and origins of your gemstone.

AFTERCARE

We're here for you from the moment you start your bespoke journey with us. We design jewellery to last a lifetime and this means our bespoke pieces include complimentary re-sizing, repairs, and re-polishing.
