S&B Ring Story...💍
Pear shaped diamond ring
Here's an example of a couple who got engaged and then came in together to design the dream ring. It doesn't always have to be you on your own! We caught up with them to hear their Ring Story..

💕 How did you meet?
We met over 10 years ago at a party in Norway for one of the main TV stations over there. I was Miss Norway at the time, and Ben had just been on one of their tv shows and that's how we both ended up at this party.

💕 Tell us a little something about the proposal...
The proposal happened on a deserted island in The Philippines called Ginto Island. There was no internet there, no shops and no people - only us in a tropical paradise. The ring wan't ready yet, so Ben proposed using a ring he made on the island with a small rope and a pear shaped shell. With some help from some of the staff of course :P The perfect destination for a proposal.

💕 What inspired the design for your ring?
We had been looking around for the perfect engagement ring for a while, but didn't find something we both really loved. A lot of the rings we found where quite similar, and the bands where always quite thick. We struggled to find something both unique and dainty. After looking only online at different photos, we found an image of a ring with a row of pear cut diamonds and instantly loved it. The only thing we were sure of after looking around for rings was that we wanted one or more pear shaped diamonds. We then reached out to the Maya Magal team to see if we could make something similar, and the team came up with a lovely bespoke design for us.
💕How was your experience designing your ring together with the Maya Magal team?
It was great. A very friendly team who were fast at getting back to us at any occasion, managed to deliver ahead of schedule (just in time for our 10 year anniversary), and of course ended up creating our dream ring.
