STEP 1
Your consultation
Every creation begins in conversation.
We start with a complimentary consultation - either in our Islington design studio, at our King’s Cross flagship, or virtually. This is where ideas take shape: we’ll explore your inspirations, preferred metals, gemstones, and design references.
If you’re designing an engagement ring, we’ll discuss proportions, stone cuts, and practical considerations for everyday wear. If you’re reimagining an heirloom, we’ll examine the existing piece and advise on ways to retain its sentimental value while creating something entirely new.
Each consultation ends with a shared sense of direction - a first sketch, a material palette, and a feeling that the piece is already beginning to form.
STEP 2
Gemstone & material selection
Once we understand your vision, we curate a selection of gemstones and metals for you to choose from. Our collection includes a range of unusual stones - salt-and-pepper diamonds, classic white diamonds, sapphires in shifting hues, deep green emeralds, and delicate champagne diamonds. Whether you’re drawn to natural or lab-grown stones, we’ll guide you through cut, clarity, and colour, ensuring your choice aligns with both your aesthetic and values.
If you already own a gemstone or piece of jewellery you’d like to reuse, we welcome it. Repurposing heirlooms is one of the most meaningful ways to create something new. We’ll assess the stone’s condition, confirm its suitability, and integrate it seamlessly into your new design.
Every bespoke piece is crafted using recycled 9ct or 18ct yellow, white, or rose gold, with the option of platinum on request.
STEP 3
Handcrafted in London
With your design approved, our jewellers begin the process of making. From carving wax models to stone setting, every stage is completed by hand in our London ateliers. Each maker applies decades of experience - shaping, soldering, polishing - until your vision is realised in metal and stone.
Our workshops operate a zero-waste policy: all metal offcuts are melted down and reused, while every diamond and gemstone is sourced with complete traceability. This attention to process ensures that beauty never comes at the cost of responsibility.
Production typically takes 4–8 weeks, depending on complexity. We’ll keep you informed throughout, sharing updates from the bench so you can witness your piece coming to life.
STEP 4
The final piece
When your bespoke piece is ready, it undergoes a final polish and quality inspection before being hallmarked in London.
Each creation is presented in a Maya Magal box and accompanied by a care guide. Upon request, we can also provide a valuation document outlining the origin and characteristics of your chosen gemstone.
Our relationship doesn’t end at collection. We offer complimentary resizing, polishing, and cleaning, as well as repair services for life - because jewellery made for a lifetime deserves care that lasts just as long.
Aftercare
We're here for you from the moment you start your bespoke journey with us. We design jewellery to last a lifetime and this means our bespoke pieces include complimentary re-sizing, repairs, and re-polishing.
