We work exclusively with 100% recycled solid gold, recycled sterling silver, and conflict-free, responsibly sourced gemstones - all crafted by hand in our zero-waste London workshops.

Recycled gold
Crafted from 100% recycled solid gold.
Our gold jewellery is handcrafted in London using fully recycled 9ct and 18ct solid gold. By reusing precious metal, we limit the need for new mining and significantly reduce our environmental impact.
Every off-cut and scrap of gold in our workshops is carefully melted down and repurposed for future designs, ensuring nothing goes to waste.
Our creative collections are made in 9ct recycled gold, while bespoke designs can be created in either 9ct or 18ct gold - refined, durable, and made to last a lifetime.
Recycled silver
Responsibly made, endlessly recyclable.
Our sterling silver pieces are handcrafted in our London workshops, using recycled silver sourced from verified refiners. Each design is created in small batches by our in-house jewellers, keeping production transparent and traceable.
We repurpose every fragment of silver from the bench - a continuous cycle of reuse that makes our workshops 100% zero waste. The result: jewellery that’s modern, enduring, and kind to the planet.
Conflict-free gemstones

At Maya Magal, we choose gemstones for their beauty and integrity. Every stone we use is conflict-free and responsibly sourced, selected by hand by our founder, Maya, and our Studio Design Team.
We collaborate with family-run suppliers and local craftspeople who share our values of fairness, sustainability, and craftsmanship. Upon request, we can provide certification outlining the origin and ethical sourcing of your chosen gemstone.

Our bespoke jewellery design process gives you the freedom to choose materials that reflect you. Whether you’d like to work with recycled gold, select a specific gemstone, or reimagine a family heirloom, our jewellers will guide you through each step - from sourcing to final polish.
We love breathing new life into sentimental pieces, carefully resetting heirloom stones or reshaping old gold into something new. Every bespoke piece is handcrafted in our London studio using recycled solid gold and conflict-free, sustainable gemstones.
MM Studio
18ct Gold Plated Recycled Brass
Our MM Studio pieces are crafted from recycled brass and finished with a layer of 18ct gold plating. Using gold plating over brass allows us to explore bold proportions and sculptural forms, while offering statement designs at a more accessible price point.
The brass provides structure and durability, while the 18ct gold plating creates the rich, warm finish. As the gold layer sits on the surface, it will gradually wear with friction and contact over time and may require re-plating to restore its original finish — making MM Studio ideal for occasional, expressive wear alongside our solid gold and sterling silver collections.
