Description

Workshops run from 10:30am-1:30pm

Learn the art of wax carving to make your very own unique silver ring! In this beginners workshop you will have the option to create your own design or recreate  some of our best selling rings, using jewellers wax. Our expert jewellers will guide you through each step of the process, then your design will be cast into sterling silver in 2-4 weeks.  You will join a friendly and relaxed environment, perfect to get creative and learn some new skills. Learn more about our Ring-Making Workshops.

What is jeweller's wax?

Jeweller's wax is a blue wax that can easily be carved and shaped by hand into a design of your choice using simple jeweller's tools. The wax ring then goes through a process called 'lost wax casting' which melts away the wax and fills the space with sterling silver (or solid gold if you'd like to upgrade!)

What's included:

  • Three hour intimate workshop (classes are kept to a maximum of 6 people)
  • A finished handmade silver ring with your choice of finish: high polished, matt brushed or a mix of both. We love to see you get creative!
  • A glass of champagne, tea, coffee and soft drinks.
  • 15% off our main collections on the day of the workshop - find more pieces to style your new handmade ring with!

  • Extra services such as gold plating and the option to upgrade your silver ring to solid gold are offered at an additional cost. These can be requested and paid for at the end of the class. (Please note that these services may have a longer lead time)

  • Please note, there is a £35 additional charge for rings over 5 grams of silver.

For your safety, long hair must be tied back and no open-toed shoes may be worn in the jewellery workshop.

The workshop begins at 10:30pm, however we advise arriving 10 minutes early. Please note, we offer a 15 minute grace period after which we reserve the right to reduce the length of the class. This will impact the time given to your ring making.

If you would like to browse our collections, we recommend doing so after the workshop. We would love to help you find the perfect pieces to style with your new ring.
