How long have you been practicing as a piercer?
I have been piercing for 3 years now!
What do you enjoy most about the art of piercing?
One of my favourite parts of being a piercer is working with everyone’s different anatomy. No ear or nose ever looks the same and different things work for different people! It’s super fun to work with the client and find something that is perfect and unique to them!
How many piercings do you have?
I have 18 piercings myself.
Which is your favourite piercing placement?
My favourite piercing placements to do on the ear is a conch or rook piercing.
Any piercing advice?
My best piercing advice/life hack is to get a travel pillow for your healing piercing so you can still lie on it without damaging the piercing! And also clean with pure sterile saline solution twice a day for a speedy and happy recovery!

How long have you been practicing as a piercer?
I’ve been piercing 9 years this May!
What do you enjoy most about the art of piercing?
I really love the history behind it all. Adorning our bodies with shiny rocks and metals is such an ancient practice. Whether we do it for cultural reason, self expression, rebellion, reclaiming our bodies or any other reason, I am honoured to be a part of that journey and find it fascinating.
How many piercings do you have?
I have 50, plus a few that I have retired and no longer wear jewellery in.
Which is your favourite piercing placement?
My favourite has to be a conch, or better yet a double conch. I just love how it sits as a centrepiece in the ear, you can be quite minimal and wear something very dainty in it, or wear a bigger statement piece and it looks fantastic either way.
Any piercing advice?
Patience!! Piercings quite often take much longer than we’d like for them to heal, and that’s okay. It’s important to wait patiently and let your body do its job of healing the wound adequately before attempting to switch out the jewellery.
