Q: Lab-grown vs natural diamonds, and 9ct vs 18ct - what should I choose?

We work with both natural and lab-grown diamonds , so you can choose what matters most to you - origin, budget, or a balance of the two. For gold, both 9ct and 18ct are solid gold: 18ct has a higher gold content and a deeper, warmer yellow tone; 9ct is slightly harder-wearing (a great everyday choice if you’re mindful of scratches) and typically more price accessible. If you’re unsure, we can talk it through in-store or on a virtual appointment.

Are these rings truly one of a kind?

Yes. Each ring is made around an individual gemstone and created as a singular piece - once it’s sold, it won’t be repeated. The stones are selected for their natural individuality (tone, cut, character), then set by hand by our jewellers in recycled solid gold.

I’m proposing - what if I don’t know their ring size?

That’s completely normal. We can help you make an educated guess, and if you’d like extra reassurance we can guide you through simple ways to check sizing discreetly from home (or in-store if you can). The key thing: you don’t need to have it perfect on the day.

Do you offer complimentary resizing on One-of-a-Kind rings?

Yes - we offer complimentary resizing on all of our One of a Kind rings, so you can propose with confidence and refine the fit afterwards.

Can I customise a One of a Kind ring?

Yes - if you love the direction but want to adjust details - metal, proportions, or the overall design - we can explore this through our bespoke service. And if you’re starting from scratch, we can also guide you through stone selection and setting style to create something made entirely to your specifications.
