This workshop is the perfect hands-on experience for couples wanting to design and make their own pair of bespoke wedding rings. Guided by our skilled jewellers, you’ll be shown step-by-step how to create your own unique pair of rings together. Learn more about our ring-making workshops.

Please note, final rings are available exclusively in solid white, rose, or yellow gold, as well as platinum. Silver rings are not offered in this workshop, as silver is generally considered too soft and prone to oxidation, making it a less suitable choice for a wedding band.

For your safety, long hair must be tied back and no open-toed shoes may be worn in the jewellery workshop.

Please note, the cost of the rings is additional, pricing is design dependent and can vary from ring to ring. Ahead of the workshop we will arrange a call to ask you a few questions to understand what kind of rings you would like to create. Using this information we will provide you with an individual quote for each ring.

Please note, following the consultation and the quote a 50% deposit is taken to secure your chosen metal and final design, allowing us to begin making your rings.

What to expect

Once you’ve made your booking, we’ll be in touch to arrange a short call with one of our jewellers. This gives us the chance to speak face-to-face about what you’d like to create, from preferred metal and ring thickness to shape and overall feel.
Following your consultation, we’ll confirm the design details and provide a quote for your rings. At this stage, a 50% deposit is taken to secure your chosen metal and final design.
Before the workshop begins our jeweller will give a health and safety briefing, including a waiver form to sign.
This is followed by an informal chat about the agreed design ideas over a cup of tea or coffee.
Next, the jeweller will demonstrate how to hand forge and shape your rings. You will be shown how to solder and finally how to clean and polish the rings.
Once you are happy with the process, you will both be seated at the workbench to begin making your own rings under their supervision.
Once your rings are completed, you'll also have the opportunity to add complimentary engraving or bespoke textures to the ring, to make it completely unique.
Lastly - it's time to celebrate with a glass of prosecco!
Following the workshop your rings will be shipped to you with our Next Day Delivery Service within 2-3 weeks.

The workshop begins at promptly 3:30pm, we advise arriving 10 minutes early to get settled. We offer a 15 minute grace period after which we reserve the right to reduce the length of the class accordingly. What happens in a ring making workshop?

In our ring making workshops in London, you’ll be guided by our in-house jewellers to design and create your own ring. In the wax carving workshop, you sculpt your design in wax before it is cast into metal, while in the wedding ring workshop, you handcraft your rings directly in solid gold.

Do I need experience to join a ring making workshop?

No experience is required. Our jewellery making workshops for beginners are designed to be relaxed and accessible, with step-by-step guidance from our jewellers throughout the process.

What materials are used in the workshop?

Our workshops use recycled sterling silver and solid gold. Wax carving designs are cast into silver, while wedding rings are made in 9ct or 18ct solid gold, with options to customise shape, width and finish.

How long does it take to receive my ring?

For the wax carving workshop, your ring is cast and finished after the session and typically ready within a few weeks. Wedding rings are completed shortly after the workshop once final finishing is complete.

Can I design my own ring during the workshop?

Yes - you will design your own ring during the workshop. You can personalise details such as shape, thickness, texture and finish, and in wedding ring workshops you can also add engraving for a more meaningful, bespoke result.
