E-Commerce Assistant - Posted on 4th January, 2021

As we continue to grow our digital channel in new and exciting directions, we are looking for and E-commerce Assistant to support our E-commerce & Marketing team in driving website performance and delivering an optimised user experience.

Main duties:

  • Process the online orders (deliver ad hoc customer service in relation to online orders)
  • Create and upload of products to the website inline with scheduled product launches 
  • Write SEO optimised descriptions for new products and collections 
  • Deliver metadata (meta titles, descriptions, alt-tags and urls) for each new collection, page and product
  • Resize product imagery for the website 
  • Add upsell and cross sell products to existing products 
  • Daily QA of the overall presentation of the website 
  • Merchandise product categories 
  • Write new and continuously improve existing copy for website pages inc. occasional blog writing support 
  • Support the Digital Marketing & E-commerce Coordinator with new and on-going website development projects 
  • Create internal training packs for new collections

What we're looking for:

  • A highly organised and detail orientated candidate
  • Ability to use initiative and work self-directed with a proactive approach
  • Excellent written communication skills (must be fluent in English or native language)
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Shopify experience is desirable

The Store Manager will be responsible for leading excellence in service, maintenance of high standards of store presentation, managing a range of procedures in cooperation with the jewellery workshop as well as coordinating the daily activities of a team of Retail Stylists. The successful candidate will be a diligent professional, able to fulfil the role with passion and dedication.

What we're looking for:
  • Experience in the retail sector as a manager or assistant manager
  • The skill to sell products requiring specialist knowledge
  • A demonstrated experience of leadership in outstanding customer service
  • Experience of commercial abilities concerning KPI focus and analysis
  • The ability to prioritise and structure workflow to optimise efficiency
  • Excellent visual merchandising abilities and attention to presentation details
  • Professional computer literacy and communication skills
  • Proven ability in office-based administration and management
  • Experience in working with jewellery is preferable but not essential
